Positive & negative tests from same

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any advice as I'm a bit all over the place emotionally right now!

We've been TTC baby #2 for a few months, all we've had so far is stark negatives, and this morning there was a faint, but definite line on a test. I got excited and bought some more tests as the one I used was from the hospital and only detects 25 IU/L. So I bought a boots own and a CB early digital which both detect 10 IU/L I believe. I dipped these in the same urine (which had been kept in a sealed urine pot) and they both came back negative.
I'm feeling pretty down as I had got my hopes up, I thought surely if the less sensitive one had a faint line, then the others would show a BFP. Has anyone else experienced this and still been pregnant?

I'm not technically 'late' as my cycles can vary, but I'm CD30 with no sign of AF (usually I have cramping and back ache for a couple of days before) and AF has shown up CD27 my last few cycles. I don't know how many DPO I am as stopped OPK testing this month due to the stress it was causing. I have now also had some very light, light brown spotting only on wiping this afternoon Could I still be pregnant or was this likely an evap or something similar?

Did you use pink dye?

Yes, they were both pink dye other than the early digital

I found out I was pregnant last week and when I was 4 days before AF was due I showed positive on a pink dye clear blue early detector test (very faint) and on the same day took a clear blue digital test and it came up negative. I wanted until 2 days before I tested again and it came up on the digital test as a positive

I will test again in a couple of days it's just really confused me. Was it a normal CB digital you used or one of the early detection ones?

Clear blue normal. I would definitely wait a few days then test again. I felt so in limbo when I first tested because I knew it was a line but it was so faint! Good luck!

Hi OP, all you can do is wait a couple of days and retest I'm afraid, that's the only way to know for sure.
There's people on here used 2 identical tests and had different results from the same sample so take all early test results with a pinch of salt.
