Short luteal phase tips?

Hey,

My period is starting and I'm 10 DPO. I started spotting this morning and feel my normal period pains coming on. Does this mean my luteal phase is 9 days?

I suspected my luteal phase was short because of last months cycle which was my first cycle TTC.

So I've started taking vitamin B12 which I read online and on here (thanks!) that it can lengthen your luteal phase. I just started taking it 2 days ago so hopefully i will see an impact in this coming cycle.

Does anyone have any experience of other things they've tried to lengthen their luteal phase?

It’s only consider short below 10 days. If only your second cycle, really don’t worry! You need to expect it’ll take a while, a year is normal. If you get passed that point, progesterone can help but you’d have to go to a private clinic, you take it once you’ve ovulated

I'm currently 14 weeks with baby number 2, my LP the two months previous to conception were 8 days and 6days!! So really very short. In the end I must of just had an early implanter or the vitamin b6 plus vitamin b complex I had been taking for a few months helped, but I'm pretty sure I had Implantation cramps 7dpo. I tested positive 9 dpo so I'm 99% sure it happened then which would make sense as to why it happend for me that month!

The research I did pretty much said ultimately over the course of a year it can take healthy couples conceive it has little impact to fertility. Hope this helps as it really worried me when I saw how short they were but seemed not worth the stress in the end 😊
