Hi ladies - has anyone ever experienced having a full period 14 days after the previous one started? Up until now my cycles have been short but regular - usually 24/25 days with ovulation between Day 13 - 15. CD1 for this cycle was 21 August, started OPKs on Day 9 as usual but no trace of a second line at any point (usually they start to darken around Day 11 and I get a clear positive 24 hours or so before ovulation). Woke up on Wednesday morning to some fresh red bleeding, which would be unusual for me, and by lunchtime it was clear that this was not just some light spotting but period level bleeding.
It's now CD3 (I guess???) and the bleeding is starting to tail off, in line with what would normally happen on my period - so, what the f just happened to me? A 14 day anovulatory cycle? Or could I have ovulated super-early in my cycle? And if this has happened to you, was it a one-off or did this become the new norm (please no....)
