Static smiley face right after period?

Hello all - wonder if anyone can shed some light.

I've been trying to get pregnant for a while now after having had our first child 2 years ago. I had a miscarriage 3 months ago and am now trying again to conceive.

I have been using the clear blue ovulation kit to track and this month my period started on the 30th and only finished on the 3rd. I did the first test with a blank circle on the 3rd, didn't do it yesterday as thought still early days.

Today I just did another test and it now shows a fixed static smiley which means I will be/am ovulating in the next 12-48 hours?!

I'm so confused as my period literally just ended. Does this mean somethings wrong with my cycle? I'm usually very regular and have it every 28 days ish but now it seems it's getting short and short - my last cycle was only 25 days...and now I'm already ovulating within a week since my last period?

Don't know if this means anything wrong with me...

I would maybe do a little pregnancy test incase it was implantation?

@Snow16R the exact thing happened to me last month...I'd let the 48 hours go and then start again...turns out I ovulated a week after the first static smile and I'm now 6 weeks pregnant.

Thank you both - I don't think I'm pregnant as I literally just had my period 2 days ago and hence didn't expect I'd be ovulating so soon!

I will still dtd with dh and will also just let the 48hours go and test again in 2 days...absolutely no idea how the static smiley can appear so quickly but oh well.

Fingers crossed can get pregnant this month!

@Snow16R I have no idea...I went back to circle for 2 days, flashing for 3 days and then static exactly a week later...worth dtd to cover it but my guess is that it's an error

Yeah I just did one of these LH test strip as well and the line's also very light which suggests I'm not actually ovulating...

I wonder if it's because the clear blue testing pen is kinda old ( I used it for over 20 tests and for a couple of cycles now) so it's not accurate anymore.

Bought another box of clear blue ones and will see if it changes!

Yeah I agree it's most likely erroneous but just don't want to miss any chance however small it is....
