Late ovulation success stories

Hi all,

Feeling really fed up today. TTC just over 12 months and my cycles have randomly gone rogue this year. (A few normal cycles and some 50+ days, one was 76.)

All my bloods and pelvic ultrasound/AMH have been normal and due to have hycosy next cycle. But nothing, apart from the last few irregular cycles, that indicates PCOS.

This cycle I got a peak OPK CD34. Also had EWCM/BBT rise.

Has anyone had a BFP when ovulating so late? Just looking for some hope so I don’t feel completely deflated.

Hi OP, can I ask how old you are?

Just that I'm 41 and my cycles went haywire as soon as I turned 40. This year they've averaged 40-45 days and I even skipped one completely. Good old perimenopause!

Happy to report that I got my BFP last month on day 54 of that cycle. I've had 3 scans so far at 6+1, 8+2 and today at 10+4 and it's all looking good so far, although I am about 10-12 days behind what LMP would have me at due to the late ovulation.

This wasn't an easy journey to conceive and it's still early days, but I wanted to give you a positive story as we did it naturally without any specific changes or medical intervention. It can happen!

33! Hopefully my cycles regulate soon - I’m working on losing a bit of weight and perhaps when I’ve had all my tests next cycle the doctor will recommend medication. Who knows!

Hoping for some advice I'm 7 days late getting negative tests.
Is it possible I ovulated late this cycle.
I have been regular for a while now between 29 and 31 days is my period length normally

My first pregnancy I ovulated day CD40. I also have pcos and at the time I regularly had cycles that were 55-80 days long. That pregnancy was healthy.
