Hi all, new to this site. Thought I’d post and see if anybody has any idea what’s going on.

dates:

Period started 21st July. Typically have a 30/34 day cycle.
LH surge detected 3rd August.
BD 3rd August & 7th August.
First tested positive 11th August via one step test strips and clear blue digital dated (very early, I couldn’t resist).

story:
Tests became negative 3 days from the first positive. continued testing for a few days, all negative so gave up. Waiting for CD1, however never came.

we’re now at September 3rd (so 2 weeks or so late now!) and I have tested positive again. I used one step strips for 2 days and thought I definitely had line eyes. Thought I would see with a digital to get a final answer before I gave up again. However, when I used the digital it said pregnant but was dated weeks 1-2. The one step strips were also incredibly faint, so much so a camera can’t pick it up. I took some other cheap tests, some sensitive and some standard and all have very faint lines. I mean, squint your eyes and encourage yourself it has colour and isn’t an evap.

my question is, what could be happening? Realistically, it isn’t viable. No other BD’ing other than the 2 specific dates! Right now the gestational age would be approx 6 weeks and some - so doesn’t make any sense at all. I assumed it was a chemical initially but wanted to check if this is all a part of it?

i have a blood test in exactly 7 days from now, but it’s a rather long wait. GP doesn’t seem bothered. Think my main worry is it being ectopic or something that may have unsettling consequences. I tried 111 who just said to wait until CD1. called hospital early pregnancy unit and they said they would only see me if I’m referred via a midwife. However, there’s a long wait to see a midwife so it feels like a circle!

However, I want to know what’s going on, if it’s preventable in the future! My mind can’t settle!

Anybody experienced this before?

Have you got any pains anywhere? If you should be 6 weeks the EPU should see you. Try again with the GP if you need a referral and good luck.
