Hiya all,
I’m feeling really deflated at the moment and really appreciate this opportunity to get this off my chest.
As the title suggests, my DH and I have been trying for our second baby for three years now, we have a beautiful four year old DD who we conceived after 18 months of trying.
My periods are very irregular (ranging from 30-70 days) but they seemed to have been becoming more regular recently, and were pretty much around 30 days.
I’m currently on CD42 and with my periods recently being around 30 days, I stupidly got my hopes up that I may have conceived. Two negative tests unfortunately suggest otherwise.
I have had a couple of tests done which have apparently ruled out PCOS, but we have not heard from the hospital since and I am feeling so disheartened, especially with people constantly asking why I haven’t given my DD a sibling to play with!
Would anyone have any idea why my periods are so irregular and fluctuate so much if it’s not PCOS? I will admit that I am overweight but nothing too crazy, so I am trying to get that under control but it’s difficult with the emotional toll this is all taking on me!
I’m assuming that I’m not regularly ovulating so would really appreciate any recommendations you may have for supplements/medication I could take to help boost this!?
Thank you so much!

Hi OP, sorry to hear you are having a hard time.

I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant with our second child after 4 years - not necessarily actively TTC the whole time but not using anything to prevent it and having regular intercourse.

Didn't get even a sniff of a BFP in the 4 years until this one when I did a test on day 54 of my cycle.
My cycles have been so long the last few years and so unpredictable, I no longer even gave it a second thought when I hadn't had a period, it was only when I threw up one day at breakfast that I was prompted to take a test.

Just wanted to share as a positive example that it can still happen! Good luck

Are you doing OPKs? What are your ages if you don't mind me asking as that would affect my decision if it was me? If you are doing OPKs every month so narrowing down your fertile window reliably? Maybe try Proceive max for both you and your husband
