Ovulation??? Cycle Day 23 - TMI pics!

I am having a really hard time finding when I ovulate and going off the signs of my own body. I have really irregular cycles, spot mid cycle most cycles, have cramps throughout. Having a really hard time.
I woke up this morning to really thick egg white mucus, did an ovulation test and it's very negative, it's so faint. I'm cycle day 23.
Why else would I have egg white mucus I'm not ovulating? 😩

Hi! My cycles aren't irregular so can't advise on that side, but I use these same LH strips.

I have very little CM so rely on the strips. I have a VERY fast peak. I ovulated last week and my strip looked like yours the day I got my peak (this is actually on the higher end of my lows).

It looked like yours at 6am and premom flagged as 'low', then at 2pm I got my peak.

I don't get any high readings, I go from low like yours to peak in a matter of hours and then back down just as quick so I would suggest take 2/3 more tests throughout today.

I also started testing BBT this month which has confirmed ovulation after said very fast peak. Maybe try this if you don't already?

I have really long irregular cycles. I thought I ovulated CD14 as I had some EWCM (only once) but then I also had it starting from CD23-27, absolutely tons of rhe stuff. This makes me think I ovulated around CD25. Now CD36 and waiting to test.

Maybe your body tried to ovulate earlier but then did CD23? Fingers crossed for you x x

Thank you! Thats actually really helpful, I don't really test throughout my cycle, only when I see EWCM. We are trying without putting too much pressure on it which is why I don't really want to test throughout my whole cycle. My boobs and nipples are sore too which could also be a sign I'm ovulating. I'll test again today and see if it changes at all as I didn't realise it could peak that quickly and go back low! Thanks so much. Xx

I think this is similar to me to be honest, my cycles can be quite long. Some months I don't get my period until day 39! This could be the case this month. Only time will tell! My boobs and nipples are sore too, so I think that's indicating ovulation. I'm going to test again shortly so I'll see what that comes back as. Thanks for your comment! Xx

Do you normally have those symptoms before AF? I used to get really achy boobs before AF but that stopped a few years ago. Now I don't get any symptoms at all. Coupled with my last 2 cycles being stupidly long (100 and 101 days), I'm currently on day 36 of my current cycle.

I honestly couldn't tell you my symptoms as I'm all over the place with my cycle! My last cycle was 14 days long! But then others can be over 40. It's so frustrating. Only time will tell! I did another ovulation test and that came back negative and really faint again so no idea what the EWCM is about 😂 Thanks lovely xxx
