I had two babies after 35 yrs old with PCOS. One at 36, 2nd at 38yrs. Only happened when I lost weight, which was ridiculously hard but got there eventually. If you are carrying weight, thats my biggest recommenfation, work really hard to lose it.

PCOS sufferer here. I'm literally about to have my 3rd baby any day, I'm 41! All conceived naturally, 1st at 34, 2nd and 36. I did have a miscarriage before the 1st and 3 miscarriages before this one though. I've only ever taken herbal supplements-agnus castus I found to be great and I cut out dairy, lowered carb intake and for this last baby I was swimming 50 lengths 3 times a week so I was pretty healthy (although I was still enjoying wine of an evening)

I was diagnosed with PCOS nearly 15 years ago.

DD1 - conceived when i was 34 after 2 years, 2000mg metormin and 3 x cycles of letrozole.

DD2 - natural conception when I was 37. 2000mg metformin, plus I did the fast 800 diet and lost 12kg.

DH and I both also took the wellwoman / wellman pre conception vitamins, plus I took some extra vit D.

Sparklediamondstar · 27/08/2024 20:02

I wasn't tested for low progesterone but my GP thought I probably did and I actually had the suppositories in the pregnancy I lost. This one I didn't try as figured they hadn't worked before. Definitely worth trying though. Hope all goes well x

Yes l was 35 with PCOS and was pregnant with my second and only one ovary..( had miscarriage and ectopic before this). I also had Endometriosis and was told I'd 5% chance of getting pregnant.
My youngest was 9.. so took me about 7 years.
She certainly was my miracle.
She's 31 now.
Also has PCOS .. one son age 10.
Good luck.
Sending you much love.

Metformin did the trick for me - after 6 years of trying, DS conceived when I was 33 in 4th month on Metformin, DD conceived in first month on it when I was 35

sending positive vibes your way
