Period - brown blood

Hi all. Wasn’t sure what section to post it! Since my first baby and bf for 13 months my periods took a while to settle. Now back at 32 day cycles regularily. But my period blood is so different now. It’s nearly all brown. Everything I’ve read said brown period at start and end of period is due to slow flow. But I can’t see anything on brown period blood for whole period. Has anyone had any experience? Probably will book a doctor app but it’ll take a while to get an app as non emergency obviously. Thank you.

It is normal to get different periods after a pregnancy.
If the quantities are reasonable, if you don't have a fever and if you don't feel extreme pain, it's OK

Same here! BF for 14 months and period/ovulation has been very strange since weaning. Some all brown periods, some months no ovulation. Has yours settled yet/did you get an answer from a dr?

Glad it’s not just me! I’m sure it’s the BF! No answer from doc yet but I am booked to have a day 21 blood test to check ovulating etc.

BF did take a lot out of me. I think I’ll also reach out to drs. Also TTC which has not been successful and think it could be linked…

Not quite the same as was TTC my first (i.e. no BF), but I had same issue and was sure it was stopping me falling pregnant. I blame a long time on the pill.

So, after a while I started fertility acupuncture to increase healthier blood flow to the area - had two sessions and fell pregnant!

Could've been complete coincidence but I'm still so happy I tried it.
