I need line eyes

I took two pregnancy tests, my period is due in a few days. Fairly quickly in the time to check, I noticed a faint line on both, only one could I get a decent picture of; I want to see it, though, so I need someone else to confirm what I'm seeing or tell me it's not there.

TrumpetOfTheMatriarchy · 24/08/2024 20:59

MurrLow · 24/08/2024 21:03

That's negative, I think

OliviaO · 24/08/2024 21:23

I don’t see a line :(

AutumnCrow · 24/08/2024 21:26

No, sorry. I can't see anything.

Pandasnacks · 24/08/2024 21:27

It's negative sorry

CatchHimDerry · 24/08/2024 21:30

Can’t see anything on the first one, can kind of see something in the second one. Fingers crossed for you xx

Tintinuviel · 24/08/2024 22:49

I can't see anything...but if your period is due "in a few days" you're probably somewhere between 9-11dpo? Almost half of pregnant people will still be testing negative around that time. It may just be too early to get a definite answer.

Implantation is normally somewhere between 7-12dpo (around 7-2 days before your period) and you can't get a positive result until after Implantation has happened.

I would say that you're not out for the cycle, until you either get a normal period or test negative at 14dpo.

MurrLow · 25/08/2024 00:02

I say a few days because I got off the pill 2.5 months ago, and since then, neither my periods nor my ovulation have been easily trackable, so around a few days expectation for either is the best I can do

imSatanhonest · 25/08/2024 00:34

I can see the faintest of lines on all of them.

That's fair. Have you tried LH strips? It doesn't guarantee you ovulated nit it's a lot easier to track than bbt.

You can get cheap multipacks (I use wondfo abd get through a ton!) So that you can test 2-3 times a day, starting from around cd7 onwards.

How irregular are your periods? Have they come back yet?

Pandasnacks · 25/08/2024 17:59

Did you test again today OP?

MurrLow · 25/08/2024 19:10

They've come back, they were every 2-3 weeks at one point, so it's possible that my predicted start day is off as well, and it's way too early to test
Tests this morning were negative, but I also started throwing up in the morning for no reason which was my big tell last pregnancy. I'll have to just wait a while, see if my period comes, and test again

I can see something! Very very faint but I see it x

MurrLow · 26/08/2024 21:07

You can be disappointed, allow yourself to feel it, if necessary.
Do you have someone to talk to ?

I can talk to my husband and my mom. None of our close friends know we're trying, so unfortunately, I can't bring it up to them

I'm really sorry, OP. I hope your time comes soon x

That's 2 people, which is great!
AF = start of a new cycle and therefore a new opportunity
Take care :)

MurrLow · 05/09/2024 04:39

So, AF hasn't come yet, and I tried another fertility tracker app, and it estimates I'm about 13-14dpo, but it's just an estimate. I took this cheap Walgreens early response today. I feel like there's actually a definitive line here? Thoughts?

It looks so faint that I can't tell. Re-test tomorrow?

MsChatterbox · 05/09/2024 06:11

It should be a lot darker at 13-14dpo, sorry OP I know how desperate these times are!

Olika · 05/09/2024 06:20

You have been testing quite a while now so I would think your missing periods are more about coming off the pill.

CatchHimDerry · 05/09/2024 10:19

I can kind of see it OP, but I’m afraid when I’ve had faint ones like this it’s always a chemical / early loss. I hope you get the news you are hoping for x
