Pregnacare experiences

My OH and I have been TTC our #2 for 9 months. In an attempt to help, I ditched the folic acid and started taking the pre conception Pregnacare vitamins. I was aware it could change my cycle and this month mine has gone from 28 days to 25.

I wondered if anyone had any positive experiences when taking them or if I should go back to my regular folic acid etc. Or 9 months+ second baby success stories.

I should say I am 33 and my first pregnancy took 3 months TTC naturally. Second time around seems a lot harder, any positive stories would really help ease my concerns.

We were similar. #1 no issues conceiving, #2 a year and 1 miscarriage later we're pregnant again. Similar age to you.

No clue if any of it helped but we both took the proceive conception vitamins and coq10, then baby aspirin once pregnant.

I don't have a success story with the pregnacare but I will say that they made my periods really regular and balanced my hormones a bit better. I do have low egg quality though so I really struggle to fall pregnant anyway. I just think taking essential vitamins can't hurt can it 😊

I tried pregnacare but it messed up my cycles. It’s much better to get nutrients from your diet.

I took the conception ones for 2 months (and my partner) while I had the implant (which I had for around 8 years).

I removed the implant a month ago and I’m pregnant, probably too early to say if it’s a healthy pregnancy but seems ok so far. Clear blue test said 2-3 weeks.

I’d say it helped, as with the implant I had long cycles and once I took pregnancies I had a regular one (at least 30 days - not 60) and we are surprised (and excited!) to see a positive test so quickly.

We’re all different though, so hard to say! Best of luck

Thank you all for your responses - I will persevere with the vitamins for the next few months and see what happens.

Thanks again ☺️ xx
