Has anyone found taking vitamins stops them from ovulating? Started taking proceive max last month and I didn’t ovulate this month I would say it’s a coincidence but a few months back I started taking ovulation support and I didn’t ovulate that month! So frustrating trying to help myself but I’ve ended up just delaying my ttc process even more

Sorry OP but no, I don't think vitamins can stop you from ovulating. I think there is possibly something else going on there and you should see a doctor if you're worried.

I’ve had all the fertility check ups and everything is fine it’s my partners sperm that’s the issue so I find it very strange how the 2 months out of a year ttc I haven’t ovulated is when I have taken them so I just wanted to know if it had happened to anyone else

Why do you think you haven't ovulated ? Are you sure you haven't just missed it or it's happened sooner or later than you thought ? It's a very easy window to miss I caught it one month by chance by the time I'd got home from work the peak had gone

Well if you think taking fertility vitamins has stopped you ovulating then you could just stop taking them and see if you ovulate.

However, kindly, science would say you are being a bit silly. Vitamins just don't work like that.

You are probably either just missing your peak on your OPK, or there's something else going on. And really the best person to ask is your doctor.

(As a woman who has been having fertility treatments for 4 years - also male factor - I've learned a thing or two).

hopefully thats what’s happened but I started the opks cd 6 and I’ve done about 10 a day every day even while at work too and when I peak it stays high for about 24 hours then it goes down fast so I just know deep down I haven’t ovulated

I noticed on Pregnacare max it did have a label saying that some women reported an altered/delayed period, so perhaps you just ovulated later and didn’t catch that in the testing window? I think buy a load of cheap ovulation tests and continually test each day in your predicted window until you get a positive, just to make sure, and if there’s any inconsistencies to go to your GP x

Oh really that's good to know I'm not going completely mad and it might be true. I've been testing multiple times a day with opks and I'm cd 15 now so I'm going to carry on with my cheap sticks hoping I do end up ovulating although I have never got a positive opk after cd 12 but fingers crossed🤞
