AF after Miscarriage

Hi guys,

Unfortunately I experienced what I think was a miscarriage around 5-6 weeks at the end of last month! Devastating! Can I ask how long it was before AF arrived again! My app is saying I should be on now but that is basing on my miscarriage being my last period of that makes sense.

I had my miscarriage at 10 weeks at the beginning of August. I have read it can take 4-8 weeks for your period to return. I have been having my HCG monitored by the EPU and the last result at 10 days post miscarriage was 150. I'm due repeat bloods on Saturday which will be 17 days and they are expecting them to be close to normal. I'm anticipating that it will be a couple of weeks after my HCG is normal for my periods to return. I'm trying really hard to be patient!

My first MC it took 8 weeks for my period to return, and after the second 10 weeks. I was a few weeks further along than you. My HCG with the second one was tracked, so I didn’t get it until my blood hcg went to 0. Hcg can stay elevated for longer in the blood than what shows up on a home pregnancy test

Mine took about 5 weeks to return, after a MC at 11 weeks.
