LH surge

Is it usual to have a LH surge just before AF is due? Mine has gone from 11 to 54, I am pretty certain I ovulated when I had my peak as had all the signs and symptoms.

My other tracked months this hasn't happened so wondered if it had with anyone else?

Have you taken a pg test? LH can turn positive as hcg rises

Not yet, I had a chemical last month so have avoided testing early, AF due in two day's, I may test in the morning. Going to assume it's not a second ovulation or peak as I've had no other signs of it being that. Thank you for your reply x
