My DD is only 6 months, she has started solids and feeds less in the day but feeds all night whilst cosleeping, I have no plans to stop feeding. DH and I plan to have one more (taking us to 4 children) and I am 35. I had my first two with a small age gap and long to have two babies together again (I took contraception whilst feeding, conceived my second after I had stopped feeding and then she came prematurely)

I know that this is not a big deal and I should let nature decide when my body is ready again but my inner thoughts are desperate for another baby sooner rather than later. Other than the sensible advice of, it will happen when it happens - is there anything I can do over the next 6 months to increase my chances of conceiving whilst BFing?

I think just making sure you're as healthy as you can be - active (which I'm sure you will be with 2 and a baby!), good diet, folic acid. I think post partum return of cycle varies depending on the person, rather than circumstance. I BF my daughter till she was 20 months (just stopped this month!) and we also co sleep so she fed lots overnight. She was a total boob monster! But my cycle returned after 8 months. Hope it comes back soon for you xx
