TTC post miscarriage and D&C

Hi guys

I had a anembryonic pregnancy at week 7 (blighted ovum) and D&C week 10

Since then my periods are very light and I feel like my ovulation peak is quite low

Anyone had same experience? We've been TTC since (5 months) with regular LH testing but no luck

Any experiences or tips would be appreciated

Consider asking for a follow up to check for uterine adhesions/ Asherman's syndrome.

Hi, I don’t have experience of a blighted ovum but I have had a mmc and d&c in 2022. Afterwards my periods were incredibly light.
I conceived on the third cycle.

What is your lh peak? Also are you testing twice a day?

As the pp said, contact your gp to look into it. I was going to do that if I hadn’t got anywhere after 5/6 months and if my periods were still very light.

My periods were also very light post surgery. I conceived on the 4th cycle afterwards and I'm now 10 weeks. Like you, I was worried and I was going to go to my GP when I hit 5 months if I hadn't got pregnant. It's maybe worth speaking to them to get the ball rolling incase there's any issues but hopefully it's just your body taking a bit of time to heal.

@Blue2020 no I've only been testing once daily, you reckon need to twice? I figured the peak means ovulation soon so I just rolled with it

@Blue2020 my peak was around 40 to 55 I think

@Pinktree87 is that in Premom? I do it twice a day if it’s within 5 days of when I usually ovulate. It’s just a better chance at catching the peak vs the rise/fall. Everyone is different though, yours might remain very high for more than a day.

Something I did to confirm ovulation is bbt. If you have good nights sleep and could take your temp each morning before having a drink/getting up etc, it’s a good way to confirm it happened.
