9dpo keep me company

I’m 9dpo today and convinced I’m pregnant…but feels like I have been convinced the last 4 months 🙃. I had a MMC with twins in April at 9 weeks which was really tough, and then a chemical in June. With the twins I had a faint but obvious line on 9dpo and with the chemical got a positive digital at 8dpo so I’m already desperate to know this month. Every month I say I won’t go mad and start testing early but here we are! Tested this morning and BFN. Feel sick, have sore boobs, backache, insomnia…but these seem to be my regular PMS symptoms too. I got pregnant with my first (who is now almost 3) within 3 months with no complications so it’s been a shock that it hasn’t been as easy this time. Anyone in a similar boat?

@SummerC2024 I am 9DPO and convinced (super hopeful) I'm pregnant as well. This is my third cycle post hycosy. My symptoms are similar to yours but boobs feel okay. We also have a DD who is three and a half and was conceived within 3 months of trying with no complications at all. Then in December 21 we started trying again , had an ectopic pregnancy in June 22 and lost my left tube. It's been miserable BFN since then .

I am so sorry for your losses, they stay with us don't they ?

@Favofit Oh it really sounds like you’ve had a rough time, I’m so sorry for your loss too. I know no one really expects a loss but it honestly hit so hard, I just wasn’t expecting it after an easy time the first time round. How did the hycosy go? When are you planning on testing? I said I’d wait until after AF was due this month as I didn’t want the hope and disappointment of another chemical, but already failed there! X

@SummerC2024 thank you it was such a shock . When it took 6months to get pregnant again I was naively impatient. The ectopic turned my world upside down. And to this day; I still look at certain dates and events and fell crushed.

I've just found an early response test at home and will try to wait until Thursday morning to test. According to their websites that's the earliest I can test.

The hycosy was very unpleasant for me, I thought it would be like a smear test but in fact it was quite painful and when the dye went in, felt like very painful period. Having said that I've read so many good things about the procedure and kept that in mind the whole time. Thankfully my remaining tube is fine so now I'm just hoping for the best very soon ❤️

Hi! Similar boat here. I’m 10dpo and BFN. I started bleeding at 8dpo but it’s only been really light spotting.

It’s our 5th cycle TTC our second with three losses since February. Like you our first was conceived in the first couple of cycles no issue so it’s come as a shock to be struggling!

@RoseannesMamma I am so sorry for your losses, that sounds really though and so much in such a short period .

For this cycle it could be implementation bleeding maybe ?

@Favofit Glad the procedure went well, albeit uncomfortable, and fingers crossed it works for you. I’m trying to delay testing until Friday or Saturday as I’m away for a few days from tomorrow until Friday, but I’m not known for my willpower when it comes to testing! I’m fine until around 8/9dpo and then it’s like an impulse I can’t control lol. With my first I never even thought of testing early, just waited until I missed a period and got a BFP at 15dpo.

@RoseannesMamma hi! Sorry to hear about your losses too, that must have been hard especially so many in quick succession! How many days have you had spotting? Last cycle I started with a pinprick of blood on cd23 which I hoped was implantation bleeding, but then continued to have tiny spots for 5 days until my full on period started on cd28. So weird. I swear our bodies mess with our heads! The last four months I’ve had just about every ‘early pregnancy’ symptom and obviously they’ve all just been pms instead. I wish I could relax but I’m 36 and wanted a relatively small age gap of around 3 years and now my daughter will be near enough 4 even if I get pregnant in the next few months.

I keep hoping it could just be implantation but don’t want to get too hopeful as I think this happened last cycle and AF just arrived. But yes I also just get all the symptoms every month now, I used to get excited like “oooh could this be it” and now I just want them to leave me alone because they don’t necessarily mean anything! This cycle is already longer than the last one… I’m CD26, I used to have 27 day cycles but the losses have messed them up recently.

Also same (ish) with the age gap, we wanted 2-3 years, this cycle is the last where I’d have a due date before our daughter’s 3rd birthday! I feel like times ticking!

@SummerC2024 that's so good that you've got time away, good distraction. You've inspired me to try to hold out a bit longer before testing. Will try to wait until Saturday. With my first I knew I was pregnant because all the symptoms were incredibly strong and I'd never felt that way before. I remember testing a day before period was due and it was BFN and the following day had a dye stealer. Hopefully it works out for us this month x

@RoseannesMamma I know what you mean about the age gap. DD is constantly asking me when her baby brother will arrive and the gap is widening to fast. Having had one already I'd always assumed the next would be a given . Baby dust to us x

Oh my gosh @Favofit , BFN then dye stealer the next day?! Wow!! There’s hope then! I’ve always had nice early lines (with daughter and the losses) so I feel like 11dpo and BFN I must be out. I don’t want to get my hopes up any more!

It was all so easy the first time round! This is so new!

11dpo and BFN. Starting to lose hope. It’s so hard when you do everything right and it just doesn’t work, I’m now panicking something is wrong and there was some damage from the D&C I had to have. I know it’s still ‘early’ but it was such a stark white negative it’s hard to see how it can turn positive now so just going to prepare for AF now

BFN this morning as well at 11DPO , it's ruined my day and I'm trying to believe . With my first I didn't get my BFP until the day AF was due . I'm trying to keep my head up and stay positive it will happen soon
