Anyone had pregnancy success stories of ovulation on day 11?

I'm just about to start TTC and my ovulation days are normally days 11/12. My cycles are very regular and my LP is about 13/14 days each time. I have slightly shorter cycles.
I had a really painful fertility journey with my ex and whilst I know it wasn't meant to be with him, I can't help but feel scarred by my previous experience.
I can't help but overthink everything.
I'm looking for anyone who has had a BFP and a successful pregnancy from ovulating on day 11?
Google always tells you it's doom and gloom etc but in reality that's not always true. Just want to put my mind at ease and relax.

I got pregnant on day 11! Defo not all doom and gloom as I'm currently waiting for the now crazy 18month old to wake up from a nap 💕 good luck!

It's within normal range to ovulate on CD11. Why would that prevent pregnancy?

toastandbutter219 · 19/08/2024 12:36

My daughter was a day 10/11 ovulation! Definitely not too early!

Angie2018 · 19/08/2024 13:44

Thank you all! Don't know why am obsessing over silly things. I think because I had a such a terrible time trying to conceive with an ex partner a while ago and it turned out it was his sperm that was the problem, I am now just overly worrying about everything. I have read a lot this morning that from day 10/11 it's perfectly fine to ovulate and there have been many successful pregnancies so il try tell my brain to stop now 🤯

I ovulated day 9 just one day after finishing my period. I'm nearly 14 weeks now :)

Amazing! Thank you for that! I only had sex once in my last fertile window, on ovulation day which was late night day 11. I'm now 15dpo with no period 🙄 body playing tricks on me and I am feeling anxious. I had cramps and started to spot on 11dpo, had a bit of spotting over the weekend and today it's gone. Feel super heavy down there, had on and off cramps today. No spotting at all. So weird I don't feel pregnant at all, I was totally convinced my period would arrive this morning when I went for a pee that I didn't bother to test, much to my surprise no blood, last nights pad was stark white too. No blood today. I feel very normal. Convinced AF will be here later or tomo. Too scared to test as would rather see blood than a BFN so il just wait it out to see when AF decides to turn up. X

I recently got my BFP with an 11/12 day ovulation.

My cycles were usually 24-25 days long.

Sending you all the baby dust ❤️

Thanks so much @MeggggsssTTC
I am pretty sure I've had a chemical pregnancy this cycle, I haven't come on yet and two days late but I've started to feel like I will. I had implantation cramps and light spotting last Friday and a little bit Saturday and Sunday, then it all stopped and I just had strange sensations in my uterus and strange bowel movements. I wish I had tested early now, first test was this morning and was negative. I'm never ever late even by a day, the only time I was, was the last time I had a chemical. Hoping AF shows today so I can start a new cycle. Thanks for letting me know you got your BFP. I'm taking this cycle as a positive so onwards and upwards xx

I'm really sorry to hear that you may have had a CP. Sending you all the hugs ❤️

I know that feeling from TTC. Sometimes it was a relief when AF finally arrived as it meant I could start trying again with a new cycle. I was adamant I would fall pregnant first time, they make it look so easy in the movies/ on TV 😅.

Hoping next month is your month. Sending you baby dust ✨ Although I'll keep my fingers crossed for that late BFP.

Lemme know how it goes over the next few days and If I can do anything ☺️

Angie2018 · 21/08/2024 09:46

Thanks so much @MeggggsssTTC ! I have just started bleeding so no late BFP for me but I do feel a bit better as it probably means sperm can meet egg. We will try this cycle and have sex a bit more as last time was a fluke moment. My cervix is still higher and squishy which it was the last time I had a chemical a couple of years or so ago with my ex. So I am pretty sure that's what's happened.
How long did it take you to get your BFP?
It's lovely you got it and have a shorter cycle like me, gives me so much hope.
Xx

I'm sorry to hear that AF has made an appearance. Hopefully, you can start a fresh with a new cycle and with new hope. Wishing you all the best for this month ☺️ I'm also very impressed you can tell the difference in your cervix, I never could!

Me and my partner tried for a couple of months without tracking ovulation with test strips. I used the Flo app to pinpoint ovulation at this time. It was all very relaxed and we just went with the flow.

After a couple of BFN’s I decided to track my ovulation with clear blue and easy @ home strips. I soon realised that the Flo app was not accurately pinpointing my ovulation. Two cycles later and I got my BFP.

I took some other steps to get my BFN but I'm not sure which actually worked. I think there are lots of myths out there, but I was willing to try anything last cycle 😅 TTC makes you do crazy things.

No matter how understanding my partner is, I just don't think TTC was anywhere near the same experience for him. This is why I found these forums so helpful as I could relate to so many of these people and their experiences.

Sorry for the ramble 😂 xx

Angie2018 · 21/08/2024 10:51

@MeggggsssTTC oh gosh you are so right! Men just don't get it do they haha, they are like relax it will be fine. They don't get the urgency 🤣
That sounds relatively smooth in the grand scheme of things I guess, once you started tracking ovulation. I'm really pleased you got a BFP in a normal time range. I really hope I do as well!
I think it's that thought of will it ever happen?! But when it does I am sure you sit back and go, I probably could have chilled a bit more lol.
I am glad to have started CD1, ovulation will be in 11/12 days so I can't wait to try again! How many weeks are you now? Xx

@MeggggsssTTC also don't ever apologise for rambling it's my most fav thing to do!! I hate dis you do differently for the cycle you got your BFP? I think I will try to DTD on ovulation day again and the day before and then two days before that too and hope it works xx

Haha yeah they don't understand that it must happen right now!!! Its a whole different experience for us with all the emotions and possible changes to our bodies in the future.

I'm sure men don't understand the need for a good ramble either 😂

Definitely, this is going to be my first baby and I was having some very irrational thoughts that there must be something wrong with me because it didn't happen straight away 😅 I must say I was very stressed and anxious when TTC and honestly I'm still feeling that way as its early days (6 weeks on Friday).

Fingers crossed for this month ❤️ How long is your cycle usually? Mine was usually about 24-25 days.

I started tracking ovulation the day after my period had finished. I tested am and pm. I think I would've nearly missed the start of my peak/ LH surge if I hadn't of started testing in the pm. I used clear blue digital and easy @ home surge. I had an ovulation journal too, it was easier to compare the strips and find my true surge.

We DTD every day 3 days before, on the day of ovulation, and one day after. I did elevate my legs and I laid in bed for 30 minutes after. I have no clue if that helped but it gave me an excuse to take some me time.

Me and my partner started taking proceive, I've heard some really good things about them on here. I had already been taking a boots version 3 months prior.

Me and my partner cut out all caffeine and avoided hot baths as I've heard that can be bad for sperm mortality. We made a promise to get more sleep and exercise. I was probably less stressed as I'm off work for the summer.

I think most of the time its pot luck.
