Am I pregnant?

Hi, my husband and I have recently decided to try to try for another baby. I stopped taking the pill just under 2 weeks ago today.

I have been waiting for my period to arrive to allow me to track my cycle. However, just today, my nipples have been incredibly sore which have caused me some slight discomfort. I read online this morning that this is common when you come off the contraceptive pill, and that it is just your body producing PMS symptoms again and it is all normal.

However, this evening I have been feeling mildly nauseous and my husband joked that maybe I am already pregnant. I decided to take a cheapo Asda pregnancy test this evening which I had in the draw, which has produced a white line where the test line should be. If I am pregnant, it would be just a week since conception as I had a UTI for the first few days so no intercourse occurred!

I will test again in a few days with a sensitive pregnancy test but in the meantime I just wondered if anyone had a similar experience and got a positive result?

Not exactly the same, but I did a pregnancy test about 2 days before my period and I got what looked like the faintest line imaginable. My partner couldn't see it. Anyway I tested again either the day of my period or the day after (can't remember now) and I got the strongest line within seconds. So even 2 or 3 days can make such a huge difference. Just have to try and be patient in the meantime, and I'd recommend keeping yourself distracted :)

That's so white I wouldn't read anything into it. I think that's just a mark where the line would be.

In addition to sore breasts, I now have heartburn (which I never get) and have read that this is also a very common sign!

I have ordered some first response tests from Amazon and if my period hasn’t arrived by the weekend, I will take a test!

Looks negative. You have a line where the control line is only.

clearblue one I got the faint line !!

@Minifahm786 I think that might be an evap as its too thin and not centered. Those clear blue tests are known for terrible evaps, maybe test again in few days with a pink dye test

Yes it was darker later on I didn’t take pic and blue colour .
