Help with faint positive compared to dates

I'm having a bit of a time of it. I normally have cycles between 23 and 30days so even though we weren't trying I tested yesterday as it was cd32 and got a faint positive. Very unexpected, used protection and I've had a lot of troubles in the past with pregnancy and conception so a MASSIVE shock.
Anyway, thinking of the dates and the fact we only had sex once on 24th July, I'm expecting this is going to end badly?
I tested again today but had no first response so used a normal 25miu which I thought was negative but now has two lines.

Any advice would be great because despite this being my 5th pregnancy (2 living children) I'm freaking out.

Thanks! I'm just nervous that I should be further on by now. I'd have expected a very dark line considering my period could be a week or more late.

Congratulations on your positive! I do understand why you're feeling anxious. If you only dtd on 24/07, the latest you could have realistically ovulated would be 29/07. That would put you at 20dpo minimum now so you probably would have a strong clear positive. How is the test looking? Maybe you were quite well hydrated when you tested which will make the line look fainter? Keeping everything crossed for you xx

Yeah that's right. Though it was actually the 25th July we dtd but I'd still have expected very strong tests by now.
The test I did this morning now looks to have a visible line, which is a 25miu test.
But 🤷‍♀️ I am normally well hydrated and have been very thirsty.

@Treaclepie19 what's the date of your LMP? Have you ever tracked line progression before? It obviously doesn't tell you exactly what the future will hold but seeing how / if the line progresses might be useful to know to rule out a chemical pregnancy. Hoping all works out for you xx

@CosmicLove 17th July!
I have in the past. I always start off super light lines. I'll do a free tomorrow morning to compare and go from there. Thank you xx
