BBT help!

Any BBT experts here? I use two apps (I am not sure why, both were recommended by friends and I just decided to use both). But frustratingly they're saying different ovulation days. One is 10th August, and the other is saying 12th Aug. Both state they have chosen ovulation date due to BBT results but I'm confused how that could be. I had a peak ovulation test on 9th, it was still dark on 10th but got lighter as the day went on. I want to just use one going forward, so if anyone has any idea which they believe to be correct that would be great.

I would say 10th, FF is always the most accurate

Hmm yea, I think what is throwing it is having a few higher pre-ovulation temps. I’m not sure to be honest. Did you take lh tests too or just bbt? For additional info.

Yes, I used ovulation strips. I have added the strips from 9th, 10th and 11th aug. You can see peak was 9th and then they got gradually lighter.

So if peak was 9th, ovulation on 12th would be quite late wouldn't it?

Yes if you had your peak on the 9th I would lean towards 10th being ovulation day, along with the temps too. Although it could have been the 11th. It would be hard to know.

Thanks. That's true suppose it could be early morning. New to BBT but had been hoping it would be straight forward.

Good to know FF is seen to be the more accurate. I think I'll just use it going forward.
