Could this be peri-menopause?

Im worrying it could be the end of the road for dc2 - please help.

I'm currently TTC n.2 who was an ivf miracle, and currently on the IVF battlefront again.

I'm waiting on my 3rd egg retrieval, and my last cycle I completely missed dtd as I ovulated so early - I hadn't started testing opks yet.

Ovulated day 8 - previously my earliest ov was day 11. I have PCOS but relatively regular cycles (26-30 days). This cycle was 22 days. The subsequent period was so heavy I thought I was haemorrhaging- heavier than my recent losses even.

I'm 38; is this a sign period-menopause is truly on the way? Could it just be a come down from all the meds I've been on for 4 embryo transfers over the last 8 months?
