I had a positive ovulation test on cycle day 33 one week ago.
i tested yesterday and had a negative pregnancy test sadly at 6dpo but my ovulation test was pretty dark though? Does anyone know why this is happening?

30 years old and TTC for 2 years now.

Isn't continually elevated LH a feature of PCOS? Though perhaps not for you personally if you get clear peaks.

As it's been two years now, have you already considered requesting a referral from your GP? PCOS is one of the more straightforward fertility issues to address.

As @sirensong has said, OPKs can be unreliable with PCOS as you can get a double LH surge. If you have been trying for 2yrs, ask the GP to refer you to the fertility clinic. If your cycles are very long, you can take inositol or metformin to shorten, they will do blood tests to check you actually are ovulating and if needed, the fertility clinic can prescribe drugs like letrozole or clomid to induce ovulation along with ultrasounds to check the eggs are preparing to be released. I've had PCOS for over 10 years: DD1 was conceived after 3 rounds of letrozole and DD2 was a natural conception after I lost a lot of weight. Good luck!

Ah really I did not know that, usually it’s very low for me, and it does peak monthly normally.

I have been referred and have been waiting for 6 months to get help now, I moved house and had to start all over again from my previous hospital where I was been seen a year ago. I’ve lost 3 stone in that time to try and help with the symptoms.

thank you I will just have to wait for the tests again :)

It's normal with pcos for a second line to be visible all month long. Lh is consistently elevated in us with pcos
