I am wrong about ovulation ?

Hello everyone,
I need your advice…I'm a little confused about my ovulation !
The first day of my last period was July 30. My average cycle length is 28 days.
I used easyhome strips and digital clearblue to detect my ovulation.
On August 8 I had a flashing smiley and on August 9 a static smiley.
Yesterday, August 14, I had egg-white discharge that was transparent and stretchy, which made me doubt and I repeated the ovulation tests: today's is very dark! But today's clearblue is a circle.
I took a pregnancy test today, which is obviously very very negative.
Do you think my ovulation is actually today and that I made a mistake?

Yes I’d say your ovulation is today or tomorrow, seems much more likely timing as well. Not sure the point of taking a pregnancy test though!

Agree! I had this last cycle - static smiley but no positive OPK, no BBT rise etc. a fortnight later I had a positive OPK and temp rise and my period arrived about two weeks later. Very odd!

Proof that those expansive digital clearblue tests can be wrong

I would trust the OPK. I always found that clear blue never matched up to them but had more signs along with the opk.

yep, 2 LH surges within the same cycle - it's actually way more common than we think

ovulation usually occurs after the 2nd surge

Well, I now consider being at 0 dpo rather than 6 dpo 🧐

Just an update for those of you in the same situation: on 16 August I had a new smiley static at the same time as a spike in LH on the strip (it doesn't look too good in the photo but at the time it was clearly visible).
Two LH surge then !
