We’ve been trying to conceive for over 6 months now (which I understand isn’t that long).

I had my bloods done in March and my TSH was 2.38. I’ve read that it should be under 2.5 if trying to conceive so I was pretty happy that all was ok.
Last week I had my bloods done on day 22 and my TSH has come back at 3.21 mIU/L, T4 was 15.3 pmol/l and T4 is 6.1.
My doctor says everything is normal.

I also done two at home finger prick tests on Day 21 and Day 3 last cycle and my Prolactin was 998 and then 802. I thought this was too high but when I had my bloods taken at the doc the level came back at 562.

I’m pretty happy that I’m ovulating as I track my BBT and my progesterone level was 40 on day 22. My cycles are 27-31 days.

My OH is getting his bloods/semen analysis done next week.

I am at a loss where to go from here as the whole TTC process is really taking its toll on me mentally. Nobody knows we are on this journey.

I thought maybe the prolactin was the issue but now I’m thinking it could be the thyroid.

Should I talk to my doc and ask to be put on thyroid meds?

Any advice/insight is really appreciated.

What were your day 3 oestrogen, LH and FSH levels?

@sirensong I’ve added in a pic of my Day 3 results. How do they look? Thanks

Are you late 30s+ or younger?

Worth doublechecking with your GP about your prolactin levels I think, though your other results indicate ovulation. Do you have a stressful job/ work night shifts?

@sirensong I’m 31. I don’t work night shifts but I used to have a very stressful job which I left last year. I would say my stress levels are very minimal now. I will speak to doc about prolactin.
