Pregnant after twin baby loss at birth and I'm terrified

4 weeks 1 day pregnant - 12dpo. After losing my twin sons at birth 9 months ago, this is a blessing but I'm terrified and anxious. I keep thinking this line is too weak. I had a dye stealer before at this stage, 12dpo. I know line progression isn't the be all and end all, but I'm so worried.

With my son I did my first test at 13dpo and it was quite faint. I kept testing, the lines became the same colour at about 23dpo and I never got a dye stealer. All was fine with the pregnancy. The line would have been darker for you last time as you were carrying twins.

I'm so sorry for your devastating loss and I hope all goes well for you this time.

I'm so sorry and fully understand your anxiety but that line is fine. Wishing you the best with this one.

Thank you so much. It's amazing how worrying this is.

Thank you, I know in normal circumstances, I'd be more relaxed

I have recently found out im expecting after a missed misc 8 months ago! Its so scary isnt it. Im so sorry for your loss xx

The line looks exactly like mine when I found out I was pregnant with my son at 12dpo. As a previous poster said, the darker line was probably due to a twin pregnancy.

I'm so sorry for your loss and wishing you all the best for this pregnancy and the future.

@Ella31 tentative congratulations - I saw you on some of the other threads and am so pleased you got your positive.

Keeping everything crossed this one goes well for you and please update if you are able. The line looks great for 12DPO. I'm no expert but a twin pregnancy may have been the reason for it being stronger last time?xxx

I'm so sorry for your loss, absolutely devastating... Pregnancy after loss can never truly be free from anxiety and worry. But I hope this pregnancy goes well for you 💕

Imworriedagain · 23/08/2024 21:03

I think it's normal to feel worried after everything you've been through but pleased remember it doesn't meant something is wrong. People tend to worry and over analyse after a pregnancy loss or baby loss, it's not a sign something isn't going right with the pregnancy.
I remember your name from some other threads and wish you all the best ❤️ I can imagine the coming months will he hard as you'll naturally feel very anxious.

And I'm so sorry about your boys 💙💙

I recognise your username OP. I know many of us still think about you after everything you went through last year.

I have no advice, other than to say congratulations and I really wish you the very best with this pregnancy. Please do keep us updated xx

Oh and just to add, anxiety is completely normal even when people haven’t been through what you have. Don’t be hard on yourself when you do feel anxious. It’s a very normal feeling.

I remember your posts. I hope everything works out this time
