Sore boobs after ovulation

I typically get sore boobs in the days following ovulation.

I really thought this might be the month I managed to get pregnant, but a couple of days following ovulation and the sore boobs are back.

Is this a surefire sign that I'm not pregnant? Obviously I can't take a test just yet. In your experience, do normal cycle symptoms continue in early pregnancy or not?

There is a possibility I'm overthinking this 😆

The thing is until implantation occurs anything you feel is purely hormonal weather or not you conceived. In the TTW things can seem different that are actually pretty normal just that our attention is more drawn to it.
Good luck!

Thank you!

I didn't realise until we started TTC that I actually know so little about it.

It's also a bit bananas because when you're young and trying to NOT get pregnant, you're made to feel like it could happen at any time. Now I feel like there's a tiny window every month and it's actually not so easy. I'm a bit annoyed I spent so many years on awful hormonal contraceptives when it's possible I didn't need to at all!

Trying not to get my hopes up, but for half of every month I find myself imagining when my possible due date might be. Sigh. I guess it's just a waiting game now.

The soreness is a consequence of rising progesterone post ovulation whether pregnant or not. (Yes normal cycle symptoms continue - these are mistakenly latched on to by people during the two week wait).
