Looking for some advice if anyone can help please
I had the implant since my son was born , 7 years ago and we have now decided to try for number 2
With my son i fell pregnant more or less the first month i came off the pill , and since having him I've been on the implant with no periods so really unsure about cycle length and ovulation etc
I had the implant out in May and im finding it difficult to attempt to try and track my cycle and ovulation as my cycles are different lengths each month
First cycle was 24 days
Second was 26 days
This most recent cycle was just 22 days util I came on Sat just gone (10th)
Is this possibly after effects of the implant still ?
Also this month i want to try and use ovulation tests but with my cycle lengths being so different im not sure what date to start testing
Last month i focused on the dates my period app gave me as being most likely to be ovulating but now my cycle was only 22 days instead 26 like last month i think i may have missed the window all together

Your cycles are fairly on the shorter side, I would start quite soon in to your cycle, eg day 5/6.

If you use the strips- eg easy at home then test twice a day.

I’m having the same issue! I had my implant out start of June and my cycle has been all over the place. First period shortly after removal then more than 6 weeks until the next so I was panicking and then only 22 days until the next period so now im worrying if my cycle is too short now and this will be the norm.

Hopefully this is all just to do with the body sorting itself out after the implant but it’s really disappointing and worrying when the doctors make such a thing of how your body / fertility should go back to normal immediately after removal 😔

I don’t have any advice but just wanted to say you’re not alone.

Thank you for your message

It is so disappointing i feel bad for feeling so upset when i already have a son but every month my period comes its so upsetting

This month im going to start ovulation tests , i think if i see that i am definitely ovulating even though my cycles are all over the place it might put my mind at rest a bit. The date i start testing im going to base it on my shortest cycle so far and just go from there

Hope it works out for you
xx

I had a miscarriage in March and only had two 18 day 'cycles' before falling pregnant again. The first wasn't a proper cycle, but it turns out the second was. The lady on the phone at EPU said it wasn't possible, but I beg to differ as I'm 13 weeks today 😄

Hi again . Just wanted to give you some hope and let you know I had my implant out the month before you in May and today I had a positive pregnancy test ❤️
