Day 3 or day 5

Hi

I'm in the process of freezing my eggs due to personal circumstances changing during the IVF process.

The clinic have just called me to ask whether I want to freeze today (day 3) or Thursday (day 5). She asked me to be mindful that we could lose all eggs.

Just looking for any advice, I really don't want to have gone through this process with nothing to freeze if we leave it to day 5 but concerned about freezing today as the clinic recommended day 5 is best.

This is a bit too late but I’m about to go through ivf and so I’ve seen a lot of information about it. Day 5 will survive the thaw better so that’ll be why day 5 is recommended.

When you say 5 top quality; do you mean 5 top quality embryos? That’s an incredible result from one cycle! You could potentially get five children out of that.
