I have recently had a miscarriage at 6 weeks pregnant which has been so hard.
I was just looking for advice on how long people left it between loosing a baby and trying to convince again? We would love to start again but I was wondering if it's to soon. And also how do you work out dates for ovulation when you have no period to work from?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about your loss, it’s extremely difficult and disappointing. It’s completely up to you when you’re mentally and physically able. I had a MC at the same time last month and we gave it a few weeks to have sex again but weren’t actively looking at ovulation and trying. We happened to fall pregnant again that time and now around 5.5 weeks. I’m a nervous wreck though.
Good luck!

It is recommended to wait and have a normal period first. We waited for that, and then another cycle, because we needed the time to recover emotionally. Really pleased we did wait, I needed that time to get my head back in the right place to try again. I don't think I could have coped with getting pregnant again right away. It makes it easier to track ovulation if you wait for your period, and also if you are lucky enough to get pregnant first cycle, easier to know how far along you are. I also found it reassuring that my body was working OK again.
