If you conceived straight away with DC1...how long with DC2?

I know this has been done before, but can't find the threads. We conceived DS first month of trying and are going to TTC#2 this year. Just wondering how long others have taken to conceive 2nd time around when it was v.quick first time? (I mean very quick to conceive, not conceived by a quickie! - even if it was!)

(Just wondering...lack of sleep, libido, time, unshaved legs )

1st time for each of our 3. Didn't even to get to practice much.

#1 - 1 month
#2 - 15 months

3-4 months, 2-3 cycles as only AF came back after stopped bf and then only dropped in every 5-6 weeks.

DD was first cycle, straight after came off pill (so could have had long cycle before, didn't know because had been on pill for so long - dates did get moved back a week at scan)

Both dcs conceived in the first month of trying - which is brilliant, obv, but has made me rather paranoid about contraception since .

ds2 conceived when ds1 9 months old - same month i stopped breastfeeding. Didn't even have a period in between.

First month of trying with both dcs. Wasn't expecting it to be as quick second time either!

First month of trying with dd2 (same as for dd1) we feel very fortunate, although in retrospect a relief that we didn't have any surprises in between. Our contraceptive choices must have been wise ones I guess!

Couple of weeks with ds1 and on first try with dc2 who is due any day now......

p.s. to make you laugh (sorry if tmi but it makes me chuckle)

dd1 was a planned honeymoon baby. We went back to the same hotel almost 3 years later and we were ttc baby 2. You can guess what happened from my earlier post...

Dh wants to go away on a romantic w'end to the same hotel!!! I am somewhat reluctant.

Both of ours were conceived the first time we tried, which pretty much scuppered DH's plans for shagathons and marathan bonking sessions!!

#1 - unplanned
#2 - 1st month

Same as scampmum - only did it once that month too and we weren't even trying!

ds1 was conceived about 2 weeks of me saying, "Let's think about having a baby".

Ds2 was the product of having sex for the first time in two months.

thanks all! I love these stories! I know next time it could take forever, but gives me hope that it could be just as quick.

#1 - first time. one shag. which was ten days before our wedding
#2 almost a year
#3 bonus took no time at all - the quickest quickie, as you mention it, which incidentally neither of us remember doing...

Still TTC number 2 since Aug 07 and 1 m/c

#1 straight away
#2 10 months TTC and still trying

1, 2 ,and 3 first time.
4, 4 months.
5, 2 months.

First time both times... DH only has to squeeze past me on the landing and I'm pregnant
