Not ovulating- looking for advice

This is first post on here so sorry if I’m not using the right acronyms!

I’m in the early days of trying conceive and have been seeing a gynaecologist due to painful periods (lucky to have private cover through work!).

My periods are regular (27-29 days), all hormone tests came back normal so no signs of PCOS, thyroid issues etc.

I used OPKs from cd7 and could see progression until I caught my lh surge/peak on day 14 and then it dropped back down again. I always have ewcm around that time each cycle too.

My progesterone level on day 21 was only 13.8 so they advised I hadn’t ovulated.

has anyone else experienced this at all and are there any success stories out there of getting a bfp following this?

I had day 3 bloods done for LH, FSH, AMH etc and all came back normal it was just my progesterone that came back low at 13.8 nmol/L.

I can see my opk’s progressing and peaking and have ovulation cramps etc though so a bit confused!

Hi OP, no advice but following diligently as I have the same concerns! TTC #1 for 3 years and no luck. Bloods have always been fine except low progesterone suggesting I have many anovulatory cycles despite regular periods. I do have a lower than average AMH though. Currently saving up for ivf and getting bmi down in readiness. Wishing you lots of luck on your journey.

do you use OPKs or BBT at all? If so, do you they show positive ovulation for you?

@Poulson90 suggest trying again next month on maybe days 6 and 8 after ovulation instead, to get a sense of a possible early or late peak.
