Help reading ovulation tests

Hi all,

I am due AF in the next 1-2 days. I have been doing ovulation tests as I have heard they can detect early pregnancy. They look fairly dark but I wanted to know if this was a usual colour of test for this late in a cycle?

I have done pregnancy tests which are negative. I am new to the TTC community so am a bit unsure!
