3 months with first (age 32) and 3 months with second (age 36).

On the month we conceived our second we tried the Sperm Meets Egg plan so ended up DTD around 6 times in 8 days x

dimsumfatsum · 09/08/2024 21:57

15 months between mine. Got pregnant on the first try for both. I BF eldest throughout.

Daisypod · 09/08/2024 22:40

First baby 2 months (age 25) second 10 months (age 29) third pregnant 5 months after baby number 2 after having unprotected sex once!

HiGunny · 09/08/2024 22:51

1st baby took about 5 months to conceive. Sadly had a MMC at 12 weeks, then conceived again 2 months later with DC1. DC2 was conceived within the 1st month of trying, there's 18 months between the two DC.

Age 32: First baby took 10 months to conceive after coil removal being really obsessive with ovulation date testing etc then got really fed up and got pissed with dp and bang it happened.
Age 38 now: Now pregnant with second after second coil removal at Xmas 2023 and had a great time saying to myself il lose weight, eat better etc in the New Year and conceived 2 weeks later!

In my experience and for several of my friends, the best thing to do is not plan too much and just keep the faith. DTD as much as you want to and see what happens! Good luck x

Four months both times. 41 and 43. Just dtd regularly without paying much attention to dates or anything.

Eggnogg90 · 09/08/2024 23:16

First month with both babies. Dtd every other day in the week leading up to ovulation and for a few days afterwards. I lay on my back, tilted my hips and put my legs up in the air both times!!

TemuSpecialBuy · 09/08/2024 23:17

TheTigerWhoCameToEatMyArsehole · 09/08/2024 23:19

3 months with my first. Two years with my second.

DameBroad · 09/08/2024 23:23

Conceived first month trying with DC1 (aged 27).
Conceived again second month of trying (aged 30) but had a miscarriage at 9 weeks.
Started trying again 3 months later and conceived DC2 on second month of trying.

You may find that higher hormone doses per month from the pill etc will cause your menstrual cycle to change so that will affect your fertility for a while. The coil has a much lower dose locally so they say it doesn’t affect your chances of getting pregnant straight after removal.

I’m weirdly sensitive to hormones changes esp oestrogen so the pill was horrific for me so went for the coil as contraception. Having a girl this time so my first trimester was horrific 😂

Lovingsummers · 10/08/2024 04:31

1 month. Probably did the deed twice that month.

Toomuchgoingon79 · 10/08/2024 05:20

First time happy accident, second time the week I had my coil taken (the only time we had sex) - was told it would take up to a year to become pregnant.

Olympi · 10/08/2024 05:28

My first DS (29) took 11 months, I had three miscarriages during that period though. I am currently 33 and 12 weeks pregnant with my second, haven't been on any contraception since my DS turned one so over three years...during that time I've had multiple gyny surgeries. Not sure how many times we dtd this time as I wasn't tracking anything.

IggyAce · 10/08/2024 05:30

First was pretty much straight away, 2nd took 6-7 months.

RickiRaccoon · 10/08/2024 05:36

At 37 I came off pill and had one period before pregnant with 1st. At age 38 I came off pill and had no period before pregnant with 2nd.

Fairy0708 · 10/08/2024 13:22
