13 months postpartum periods

Hi as title says I’m 13months after having my baby, via emergency c section.
started on the pill (yasminelle, same as pre pregnancy) at the 6 week appointment. Had a lot of heavy breakthrough bleeding and big clots for first 6ish months pp. (dr said this was normal🤷‍♀️) at 11months pp I came off the pill to start ttc #2 , my period pre pregnancy was always 28days and now my first cycle was 37 days and waiting for my second cycle to start in on day 31 (no af neg test day 28) , dr said it can take a year to come back normal… anyone else on the same boat?

I took cerazette after ds (same as prepregnancy) and stopped at 13m partum. It took 39 days for my first period but I did have a very bad stomach bug just before I expected to ovulate so I think that pushed it back by a week. The second month was my typical length (although I had ovulation pain which was new for me) and I’m now part way through the third cycle and ovulated at the expected time again without pain this time.

I didn’t got on any contraception after my first was born but started TTC #2 when he was 11 months old. My cycles were longer this time round, I went from 28-30 days to 35 day cycles, we fell pregnant after 2 months but had a CP and fell again 2 months later. I ovulated a lot later too, around CD21? I was letting it stress me out but everything was absolutely fine!
