LH getting lower

Having a monitored cycle this month (as taking letrozole to bring on ovulation), and had a scan on CD14 which showed one dominant follicle at 16mm. Have been advised to start trying from then as ovulation could be any day. However, I have been using easy@home ovulation strips and the LH seems to be getting lower rather than higher. Todays test is lighter than yesterdays. Does this happen anyone else, lighter tests and then a sudden peak? The doctor doesn't believe I have already ovulated this cycle so I don't think I have missed my peak.

Although they are lighter, could they still be at peak? Are you taking them every few hours?
