Just continuing our old thread. I've added anyone who has asked to stay on here. As always, anyone who is trying after a loss is welcome to join and those who have been lucky since are welcome to encourage those who are still waiting for their rainbow (if you want to stay of course )

Also for the next thread, I'm going to let someone else take over creating the new one if people don't mind. I've a lot on at the moment with tests and I'm back to work in the next few weeks after my bereavement leave with my boys. So if anyone would like to take the mantle, feel free.

Im 2dpo today and have another ultrasound on Wednesday to see if follicle has burst followed by pdg blood test.

actually made me well up. So so happy for you xx

Ella31 · 11/08/2024 14:33

Thank you so much everyone. I'm so cautious but hopeful. I really mean this to anyone still trying. I had practically given up yesterday. 8 months trying after the death of my baby sons with nothing, I was sure it wasn't going to happen. But it did. Symtom wise, just felt like my period is coming and sore boobs, but nothing out of the ordinary. Everything is possible.

@Ella31 I have everything crossed that you'll get your 🌈 and a sibling for your precious boys. It will be an anxious time but I'm sure the hospital will take good care of you and it's such a supportive community on here too if you want to share any of your worries. I'm so happy to hear your news! 🥰

Helloo can I please join? I've just finished my first period after a loss at 19 weeks which was essentially a MMC although we'd had 3 normal scans before then. We haven't had our debrief but I'm 37 so don't feel I have time to waste. We have 3 other DC ages 9, 6 and 2 but have always wanted a big family. Congratulations to everyone who's had their bfps this month already ☺️

@Ella31 I don’t think the weeks one pick up until at least 14 dpo. From my experience anyway. As even the 1-2 weeks one is roughly one week since conception. I found with the weeks indicator I always tested a bit behind what I should. I personally left it 10 days between repeating the digital just so I didn’t panic x

My weeks one was 10DPO. I had a very feint line at 9DPO on easy at home ones, so feint you couldn't even pick it up on a camera. I thought I was loosing my mind. Got my 3+ weeks on digital today!

ExTriTrying · 11/08/2024 18:04

Huge congrats @Ella31, so happy for you!

I'm 37 in December and had a miscarriage this week at 10 weeks so similar situation to yourself. My daughter has just turned 4. The loom of time is there in the background but I'm trying not to give it too much thought! My nan had a a surprise number 5 at 45 so I know there's time.

Gracie1825 · 11/08/2024 18:53

Congratulations @Ella31 I'm so happy to hear your news

Figtree11 · 11/08/2024 19:26

@Ella31 I never tested on weeks indicator until after my period would be due. I’m sure in a few days it will show on there

Welcome to all the new ladies. This has seemed a lucky thread so far with quite a few BFPs. Hoping it happens for the rest of us soon

Onthedouble123 · 11/08/2024 19:34

Yes @Ella31!!! Bloody over the moon for you. Have you told your husband yet? Genuinely so, so happy for you both. 💕💕💕 Xx

My obestrician when I went for my twins pm told me he's seeing mainly women in early 40's. You have loads of time. Keep hoping.

Morning Ladies, think I'm out this month. Spotting pink this morning 9dpo. Did exactly the same last month and spotted right upto period.🙄

Figtree11 · 12/08/2024 08:21

Sorry to hear that @DonnaWhat When is AF due?

BFN for me, but I wasn’t expecting anything else as I really don’t think I have ovulated at all yet. Got a heavy feeling in my lower abdomen the past 2 days or so which is just making me think something is wrong.

Ella31 · 12/08/2024 08:55

Morning ladies, I've booked my first scan. Will be scanned at 8 weeks but I'm 10dpo today and feel like the line is still feint. It's definitely a bit darker but still feint. I hate how worry has replaced joy

OP posts:
Ella31 · 12/08/2024 08:56

@Figtree11 have you normally ovulation symptoms?

@DonnaWhat keep the faith. I genuinely had given up as of this month

OP posts:
DonnaWhat · 12/08/2024 09:13

@Figtree11 due on Friday / Saturday

@Ella31 I know I'm not out until AF arrives but the cycle is now matching last month although I had the weird pink stuff and weird creamy gloomy stuff last night. I'm.just not going to get my hopes up. Good that you've booked a scan. Don't worry too much over line progression, especially daily. Do them every other day although this rainbow baby is going to be a sticky one. I have everything crossed for you. Xxxx

MisssMarion · 12/08/2024 09:34

Oh my god @Ella31 that is terrific news!

Sorry for being late to the party, I had a busy weekend and didn't come on here, but I was actually thinking about you and wondering how you were. What a great surprise! I have everything crossed this one is a sticky one!

I wouldn't worry about the line, I'm not sure it's really a good tool as it's not quantitative. And you're only 10 dpo! Maybe consider doing a hcg progression test if you really need the reassurance? I'm thinking about doing it myself as I feel quite anxious and my line although dark doesn't really seem to be progressing much anymore... but I'm 20 dpo so not sure if it should keep progressing anyway.

Keep us updated please!
