TTC after loss part 5

Just continuing our old thread. I've added anyone who has asked to stay on here. As always, anyone who is trying after a loss is welcome to join and those who have been lucky since are welcome to encourage those who are still waiting for their rainbow (if you want to stay of course )

Also for the next thread, I'm going to let someone else take over creating the new one if people don't mind. I've a lot on at the moment with tests and I'm back to work in the next few weeks after my bereavement leave with my boys. So if anyone would like to take the mantle, feel free.

Im 2dpo today and have another ultrasound on Wednesday to see if follicle has burst followed by pdg blood test.

Where are you on holiday @Figtree11 ? I am off on Holiday in a weeks time and I can't wait.
I am cd7 so I am hoping ovulation comes next week before I go on holiday but with how it has been I am not pinning my luck on it.

I am impressed at those who manage to wait to test. The longest I hold out to is 9dpo 😂

@Mummysparrow I’m in Greece. Where are you going to? I hope ovulation comes soon. I’ve been the opposite, hoping ovulation has happened while I’m away 😆

@Mummysparrow I'm very much an all or nothing person. I'd be testing hourly! 😂

I did take a wander to the shops and got a test. Only cheap supermarket own ones so I'm probably too early to test with them. It was negative I'll be waiting for Monday before using the other one.

I hope the timing gods are smiling down on you both. Next month will be a bit tight for us as my partner is away with work.

@Figtree11 oh lovely. I hope you have avoided the bad weather which some of Greece has had. I am going to Turkey. I am sharing the room with my daughter so not going to have much chance to DTD whilst away.

@Superscientist 😂 love it. I sometimes use cheapie ones earlier then 10dpo if I have the itch to test (I use ones from Amazon) but I generally I know I won't get a Positive on cheapies before 11dpo so i may use a FRER before then

@Mummysparrow the weather has been bliss. Hot & sunny everyday luckily for us! Hope you have an amazing time in Turkey.

@Superscientist i’m sorry it was negative, but sounds like it was too early to test, so hopefully better news on Monday

Thanks! I figured it was worth wasting a pack of cheap tests rather than forking out on a frer! I can pop it out my mind for a few days and be patient! I probably would have paid if I was more optimistic about our chances this month. We are reliant on early ovulation as we were too knackered later in the week!

@Babydust99 Just catching up on the messages, I am so sorry, it's awful getting a false positive... I had one a few months back on a first response and it was awful. How are you feeling now? x

@Figtree11 Sounds like you have a good chance this month being away and nice and relaxed in the sun. Very jealous of all if the sunny holidays 😎 x

I hadn't been tracking and it's been much more relaxing... well as relaxing as ttc can be lol. But I found 2 opk tests left so took one yesterday (when I would normally get my positive opk and ovulate) but it was negative and took the other today, also negative. I have stopped most of my supplements, so maybe that big change has messed up ovulation. Or maybe I ovulated even earlier like on cd11.
We have an event tonight, getting hair and makeup, all dressed up and staying over in the hotel after so that will be nice for a change.

How is everyone else getting on? x

I'm doing ok. Going to give this month our best shot and then the testing will be a few days after af is due so at least we'll know what the story is a week after that

I am 7dpo and trying to stay positive. I have said to myself if we do get a BFP that would be amazing. If AF comes it’s also amazing and my body is regulating after MC. Fingers crossed for everyone xx

I'm definitely a bit hormonal - I started tearing up last night reading Thomas the tank engine as some of the passengers might not make it home for Christmas day (spoiler alert they did).
Hopefully it will mean that in the next few days I get an answer one way or the other.

@Babydust99 and @Joleyjojo sounds like positive outlooks to have. Hoping for the best for both of you!

@Ladyinpink1 i find not tracking a lot less stressful, but then it can be frustrating! I am CD22 and don’t know if I have ovulated, or if it’s still to come in the next 10-15 days. I hope you enjoyed the event you went to last night

@Figtree11 ive not done any OPKs this cycle.
move been wearing my OvuSense nightly though.
this is my first cycle without medication for a while.
I have a big dip in temp this morning and then had a big glob of EWCM this afternoon. When I’ve looked back on my charts it’s often how it is the day before ovulation so hopefully im successful without medication.

@Ncl31 that sounds a lot easier than having to do regular ovulation tests. Fingers crossed ovulation is close for you 🤞🏻

So I’m back from holiday & starting the ovulation tests. They are all really low. But now I’m wondering if there is any point, as I’m CD22. But last month I ovulated around CD40, so maybe I should do the tests so I can pinpoint when it will be. Just feels a hard slog testing for so many days!

@Figtree11 I had another negative test this morning. I thought my period was meant to be tomorrow but it's actually Tuesday. I'm in the office tomorrow and I think I might pop into the boots in the station.

@Figtree11 i used to have cycles that were 100days long, it’s soul destroying looking for positive OPK

I got another test. My period started during the 3 minute wait. Unsurprisingly negative. Maybe next month!

@Superscientist really sorry to hear that your period has started.
I am cd12 and had loads of ewcm yesterday and today so I am expecting a LH peak tomorrow. It means that I should ovulate a whole 8 days earlier then last month. Who knows if it is due to the vitamins or not but I believe that they must have helped. Which means I should have a 28 or 29 cycle which will be amazing after last cycle being 36 days.

@Mummysparrow that’s great, sounds like things are regulating.

I am CD25 and have been having ewcm most days since CD11. My ovulation tests this week are very low. Didn’t test last week while on holiday, but I doubt ovulation has happened based on the 50 day cycle last month.
Anyone ever experienced this?

BFN at 11dpo. Gutted but just want AF here to start again. I hope everyone is holding up ok , I am feeling a bit sad about it today tbh. Sending lots of positive vibes xxxx
