Negative test 12dpo with symptoms

Hey everyone!

I wanted to make a post asking about symptoms everyone got before they got their BFP and id i should lose hope after getting a negative test at 12dpo when AF is due in 3 days.

I have been doing some cervical tracking, since ive been trying to get pregnant for around 8 months at this point. I naturally have a fairly high cervix but this cycle its so high i can barely feel it, it was also soft a few days post ovulation. I started feeling twinges in my uterus and mini cramps a couple days later which are still happening. Usually before my AF i get sore breasts that progressively get more sore until the day of AF, this time however they were very sore for one day and then proceeded not be as sore after that, i have sensitive nipples too. Last 2 days ive been feeling so extremely hungry all the time and slightly nauseous. Also very fatigued but it could be because of the hot weather. Im also not sure if this is relieved but i have pelvic, back and leg pain on the left side

The 2 things that have been giving me some hope were the daily vivid dreams Ive been having starting at 2dpo and the cm i got the last 2 days which was a large quantity of jelly-like, stretchy, snotty, yellowy discharge.

If anyone had anything similar, i would absolutely love to hear about it and when you got your BFP!!

im 10 DPO and tested negative so I’m not holding our much hope.

Still bfn unfortunately, i think im going to stop testing until missed AF like the nhs website suggests to prevent any further disappointment haha. Should be between Monday and Wednesday, so I'll definitely make sure to update then.

Definitely try not to feel disheartened, i have done some research and many people gotten negatives all the way until 15-16 dpo!

Just looking to join a chat with people in a similar position.
I think I'm about 15dpo. Last time I tested was 13dpo and it was negative. I'm still due to start my period.
Also I'm on CD36. My longest cycle being 34 days and that was only once. Normally they are 31-33 days.
I've also had cramps for the last 4 days. But have eased off thus afternoon.
I'm afraid to rest again because I don't want to be disappointed.

AF showed up, couldnt be more disappointed but we move on. Honestly feels like my body is playing tricks with me, i feel like because i want to get a bfp so bad im hyper fixating on every little thing my body does. I was really hopeful this month because my symptoms were so weird and not what i would usually get in my luteal phase, i even dreamt about getting a bfp 2 times in the tww. Gonna be our 9th ttc, feel absolutely defeated.

Aww @Ellie667 I really feel for you. I've felt exactly the same the last few months.

Its emotionally draining. Thats why i dont want to do another test. Im going to wait a few more days.
Also exactly the same with symptoms, for months ive thought it could be the month but wasnt.
We have booked a fertility check for 2 weeks time. As it just isn't happening for us. But now I have late AF.
There's always this month! Do you track your temp or anything?

@Becitee I dont but i definitely should, ive realised cervical position and cm are terrible indicators of conception because the day of af when your supposed to have a low hard cervix mine was high and soft. I went to do a transperineal ultrasound a month ago and everything was mostly okay, my left fallopian tube is slightly underdeveloped and that very occasionally i may not ovulate, but that month there was definitely a sign of ovulation. Trying to keep my hopes up but its hard seeing everyone around you get pregnant within 3 months while we’re still struggling at 9. We arent really sure whats taking so long since we got pregnant around 2 years ago first try and this time its just not happening.

BFP will come to me when the time is right im sure of it, same goes to you :)

Sorry, just butting in! I am in the same position as you at the moment tcc for 8 months and I feel like every month I am drowning a little bit more! My best friend is very easy going and tells me to just wait to miss a period but I can't! I'm obsessive over symptoms and tests! And if I hear one more 'if you stop trying it will happen' I'll crack up lol! Just letting you know that you're not alone & our time will come <3 xx

@Elliebelly44 oh my god i know right, i hate hearing that phrase. Its so difficult to stop obsessing and testing before missed AF when getting a bfp is all you want. Its so reassuring knowing that im not alone, our time will definitely come soon! Baby dust to all of you :)

Af just arrived for me this morning aswell 😔 fingers crossed for us all to get our bfp's soon ❤️
