Another double surge

So I recently had a month where I got a static smiley one day and another 8 days later. Both were also. Almost due steelers on a strip test.
Most would say it was delayed ovulation and I must have had the surge,no egg released, and then had a second. However, 6 days after the second surge I had a positive pregnancy test in both digital and strip so I must have ovulated on the first surge, as it would have been far too get a positive HCG if my second surge had been ovulation.
The pregnancy was a chemical in the end unfortunately.
This month I again had two surges, 5 days apart this time. Still waiting for HCG test time but I find this so strange!
I know people do/can have more than one surge each monthly and have different surge patterns, etc but no matter what I read we seem to be told LH drops after ovulation so why did mine and others rise again, given that I fell pregnant the first time it happened.
I don’t think I am pregnant this month but I guess there is hope.

Rarely but sometimes women release two eggs a month and not at the same time so maybe it’s that?

Goodness, I know that is very, very rare. I can only hope that one gets the job done if that us the case.

I’ve been looking on to this after seeing something online. But it could be rising hcg levels that it’s picking up. Fingers crossed.
