Lines getting darker but bleeding

Hi everyone I'm almost 4 weeks with baby number 2 however I'm bleeding, not enough to fill a pad but it's there when I wipe, a mix of brown, pink and red.

I assumed it to be a chemical pregnancy however my lines are getting darker on tests, I don't have any pain.

Is there any hope here?

Would you describe it as spotting? How many days has this gone on for? Some blood is normal around the stage you're at. Plus your cervix is changing and DTD or vigorous exercise can cause it to lightly bleed. If the bleeding is light, and stops after 1-2 days, it's very likely to be perfectly innocent.

Unfortunately at 4 weeks an early ultrasound wouldn't show anything, so that isn't an option. If you're still worried in a few days time, contact your early pregnancy unit. At six weeks you can get a private early pregnancy scan too, which will give you a better idea of what's going on in there.

Best of luck x
