Positive then Negative same day...?

11DPO. Positive FRER at around 4pm after around a 4hr hold and negative (maybe a smidgen of a shadow...) on a 2nd FRER from the same box at 7:30pm (not much of a hold). Which would you trust?

Pic of the positive included for reference.

It was probably too diluted to pick up with the second test. Try again with smu

False negative is more likely than a false positive I believe.

Test with fmu tomorrow.

Wait til your period is late, save yourself the angst

Thank you. I have more coming tomorrow. Can you hold onto FMU in a cup and test later do you know?

Yes you can

Couldn't test this morning but have this evening. A VVFL, but I've also drank a lot of water today. I am going to try my best to hold out until the morning now as I only have one test left!

To be honest - I'd trust neither of them.

FRERs were withdrawn from high street sale around eighteen months ago, due to the fact that second lines were visible even straight out of the packet, and a high rate of resulting false 'positives.' Truthfully, I think it's a disgrace that they are still available to buy online when they are so unreliable.

I would recommend easy@home strips for reliability.

Oh dear! I have Easy@Home also. I'll try one of them. I'm very confused with my Flo app though, I'm currently only 13DPO but my period is now a day late according to the app?!

Hi OP, I'm normally quite good at spotting lines, but honestly cannot see it on this photo, even with maximum brightness.

I would however echo what a PP said, FRER have been notoriously unreliable in recent times, and caused many women immense stress as a result. CB are reputable, as are Sainsbury's tests.

Mine is usually due only 11/12dpo as that’s my LP. It depends how long many days is usual for you between ovulation and period. I got my BFP 2 days ago at 10dpo and period was due the next day.
