TTC with recent colposcopy and biopsy?

Hi everyone :)

recently got my first smear test thought and I have HPV and moderate cell changes. Have a biopsy sent off.

Waiting to hear back is torture - i had the biopsy yesterday and now am concerned I may need the LEEP/LLETZ and that could push back me and my partner's TTC journey. I feel we have waited so long to begin TTC (this month was meant to be practice ovulation tests etc) and now it's obviously pushed back. Cannot discuss with friends as they aren't interested in having children. Is anyone in a similar situation or was previously?

Yes - DW had the same smear result whilst we were ttc and ended up needing a LLETZ procedure.
She was told to wait 3 months for a follow up scan before we could start trying again.
It's so disheartening to have to put ttc back but it's better to be safe. Fingers crossed for good news for you!

I hope she was ok! That's so sad to hear. Sometimes I feel it just always gets pushed back - before this it was a PCOS diagnosis :( Thank you so much. x
