First month using ovulation tests (boots own)
please can anyone advise if this is unusual or normal, I had only a slightly dark line 1 day before my darkest day (I’m guessing I ovulated then?) then now completely almost nothing!

extra info - I did do all of these tests first thing in the morning, and I have read it should be later in the day?
have I been doing it wrong?

I think they work better later in the day, depending on the brand you use x

When you get closer to your fertile window (once you have tested for a few months you might know when that is) it could be an idea to test twice a day. Eg one in the morning and one in the afternoon/evening.

After a peak the lh does tend to drop again. Online it says you ovulate about a day after the peak (24-36hrs, some sources might say a different time range) but that’s provided you caught the peak too. If you only test once a day it could have peaked 5-10hrs prior to the test.

You also went from cd10 to cd12, try not to miss a day. You could have even had the peak on the evening of cd11. I would guess that you ovulated on cd12/13.

Lh tests don’t confirm that you ovulated, bbt would do this. There’s a high chance you ovulated though, just not certain.

Thank you I will double test next month!
I have also started BBT but I am waiting for them to confirm if I have ovulated or not, if I have my temp will rise until my period? Is that right

@Frenchtoastie sorry I missed this. Yes the temp is usually one range before ovulation then an increased range after. It varies on person to person.

How did this go, did bbt catch ovulation and the rise?

@Frenchtoastie ah good luck for this month. I actually got a bfp a few days ago. Early days still but trying to be hopeful.

You're logging these in the wrong section so the app won't read them properly. This bit is for Easy@Home, you need to put them under Others
