Hi. My doctor thinks I have endometriosis. I've been ttc for 8 cycles. I wondered if anyone has any tips or success stories for ttc with endometriosis. The diagnosis is base soley on my symptoms. I've had an ultrasound and everything looks OK. Laparoscopy is my absolute last resort but I would really like to try without surgery if it is at all ppossible. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Xx

No advice but I have Endo, diagnosed from lap and excision. I will be trying to conceive in the next month or 2 so am interested to see any responses. Hopefully it can help us both, good luck!

Closed fallopian tubes are a fairly normal complication of endometriosis. It might be worth getting checked.

I have severe endometriosis/pcos. We have 3 children born over 15 yo so it's wasn't easy but double for us.

Yes I have endometriosis.... My story...

2 children when I was 21 and 23

Suffered with Endo symptoms and scans never showed anything so went for laparoscopy, diagnosed with endometriosis lesions on my bowel and my tubes with both tubes blocked.

I had dye pushed through my tubes after about 6 months and they couldn't get it through so I was diagnosed with secondary infertility at 30 years old.

Fast forward...I fell pregnant 13th cycle ttc with my now 3 year old. I then fell preg again 1st cycle ttc (but ended in mmc at 12 weeks). Then fell pregnant again 3rd cycle after mmc with my now 3 months old. I am now 39 years old.

So there's hope, I'm very lucky.

Hello, I am 35 and have endometriosis, formally diagnosed last year but have had symptoms for 10+ years now. I have a son, 3 years old, conceived during the first cycle of trying. I stopped birth control when he was 7 months, and was not actively trying until late last year. It's been the most difficult time but I've just had a positive pregnancy test for baby number two and just wanted to post this to give hope to those who are trying because it can be very hard with endo.

I tried for over 3 years for my first. Had a lap- which found and excised severe endo- then fell pregnant 3 months later.

Push for the lap. For so many endo girls I know it proved helpful to fertility.

Get the lap. I've had it and it was fine. Minimal pain after. I was signed off work for 2 weeks but really only needed one. Pregnant with twins within a year (sadly ended in miscarriage but there were other reasons).
