TTC for third after 2 mc

Hi all, need a little bit of encouragement. Have DD 5yr and DS 2yr and would like one more. We sadly had a mmc at 9 weeks in Nov07 and another mc at 5 weeks in March. We were so surprised to have not one but 2 mcs after two successful textbook pregnancies.

We're going to have a little break before trying again but is 2 mcs in a row unusual? Should I be worried about it happening again? Don't want to keep trying forever - if it happened for a third time maybe it's fate telling us that we should be happy with our two....

I'd love to hear your experiences....

I had 2 mmc in a row before DD2 (now 13 months). It is surprisingly common. All you can do is try again and see what happens, but do a search and you will find loads of threads on the subject.

Thanks evenhope, good to know there are others of us out there, but difficult to think positively some days.....
