Stage 4 Endometriosis - Pregnancy Success Stories.

Feeling a little low this week and just looking for hope really. Any 35+ ladies out there that have stage 4 endo but have had successful pregnancies and births?

I had excision surgery a whole year ago for my stage 4 endometriosis, which was a success but my left tube is damaged so I have both ovaries and only my right tube. We've been trying for a baby for 7 months now... IVF starts in 2 months, praying I get pregnant naturally before then but happy to have the IVF if not.

Would love to hear your success stories.

It worked for me with IVF. They may suggest taking out your damaged tube to improve your chances because it can fill and spill fluid into the womb which makes conception harder, so be prepared for that.

I remember reading once that 70% of women with endo who want to have children do.

Take good care of yourself and all the best.

This is really encouraging to hear. Thank you for sharing. Did you have a few rounds of IVF or just the one? x

It didn’t work first try. But for most people it will work in the first three goes. Good luck with it all,

Not over 35 but I do have stage 4 endometriosis plus adenomyosis. Never conceived naturally. Three successful IVF pregnancies, although one sadly ended in miscarriage.

First 2 pregnancies were conceived through IVF after an unsuccessful 4.5 years of TTC. I was told during my c-section that it was highly unlikely I would ever conceive naturally due to the severity of my endo and I would be high risk of ectopic pregnancy if I did. I conceived naturally when my IVF baby was 12 months old. My DC are now 7 & 9 and I’ve very unexpectedly found out I’m expecting again. I’m 41 and currently 9-10 weeks pregnant.

Your story gives me sooo much hope, thank you for sharing with me. I really appreciate it.

I've had such a tough week. A friend of mine who has never wanted children and has always shouted about never wanting to be a mom and never having a desire to have kids announced her pregnancy all over social media last week and it cut me deep. I know she's absolutely allowed to share what she likes, how she likes but the thoughts of unfairness overwhelmed me. I wish it was easy for me to accidentally fall pregnant. That aside, she's a good girl and means not to trigger or upset anyone so I've parked it and refocusing on my own journey. This truly gives me hope. Thank you. Congratulations on concieving again too. That's such wonderful news. Wishing you all the very best x
