2 week wait, TTC JULY/August

Hi all,

I am wondering if there is anyone who is also trying to survive the 2 week wait? Would love for some of you to come along the wait with me!

I’m currently 1DPO today! My cycle started on the 13th of July. Holding out hope for my first BFP this month!

Hiya!! I’m 3dpo today hopefully we both get massive BFP’s this month. Are you going to hold out on testing or..? I did start a thread the other day to note down any symptoms I feel this tww incase I do get a bfp so we’ll see what happens I guess 🫣

I had a smiley OPK on Thursday 11am, when would I be 1DPO? First time using ovulation tests.

@Em36Uk exactly the same as me! Also first time using tests. I think it said you normally ovulate 24-36 hours after the surge in hormones.

I assume that means positive test Thursday, ovulate Friday? We are DTD Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday to try and cover all bases

I'm going to count that I'm in an extended 2 week wait 😂 I got my birth control implant removed at the beginning of July to start TTC, but I haven't had a period the whole time I had it in so have no cycle to go off of currently. I was told if I didn't have a period in 6 weeks (which will be mid August) to take a pregnancy test. No sign of a period so far. So I'm in the same kind of anxiously waiting limbo. Thanks for the reply! I’m hoping to hold out testing until my AF is due. I don’t know if I’ll be able to resist until then (7th August) 😅🤣. When is your AF due? I started testing early last month and ended up feeling very disappointed early on. Oh cool, what symptoms have you had so far? I feel like I’m very aware of what’s happening to my body during this TTC journey. I can notice and feel the slightest change.

Hey @Camia 😀I too had come off both control to TTC, I had no period for 5 years while on it. How long were you on the implant for? If you don’t mind me asking. I hope the extended TWW isn’t too hard for you. I’m trying to find something else to focus on during this time/ keep me distracted.

I ovulated on 20th of july
So I'm 7dpo or does that make me 8dpo? i have very sore boobs and I'm very easily irritated.
Cramps aswell and heavy bloated feeling.
Urinating more often .
I wasn't testing until af was due on the 1st of August because I've had multiple early MC ,chemical and a PUL but I've decided to test with a frer on Tuesday morning at 10dpo as I'm already going crazy with waiting and I will need a early scan to confirm its where it should be if I get bfp. What date is everyone else testing?

Hey @Qweett I think that makes you 7DO? If you ovulated on the 20th! It sounds like you have a few symptoms, holding out hope for you and that BFP 😀 sending you some baby dust ✨

I’m sorry to hear that and I can’t imagine how hard it’s been to experience that.

you’ll have to let us know how you get on with your 10DPO test. I was hoping to hold out until the 13th as it’s when my AF is due. I started testing early last month and the negatives made the wait for my AF feel even longer. What brands of testing do you also use? I’ve only ever seen frer available online here in the uk! I tend to use easy @ home and Clearblue.

My Af is due the 13th too (my partners birthday)🤞
I started tested early last month too.
Esp when my AF arrived as a strange 1day bleed then spotting (was a very unusual cycle for me)

@MeggggsssTTC I had it in for just under 18 months, but got it after I gave birth so haven't had a period since early 2022. I would love if I got lucky enough to get pregnant during these 6 weeks and not have to deal with one at all, but we'll see what happens. Trying to keep busy has definitely been helpful for me too. It does help a little that this will be baby #3, so I have 2 kids to focus on and keep me distracted, but my oldest's birthday is on Monday so now I'm also just thinking about him as a little baby and it's brought me right back to impatiently waiting 😂

I will let you know on Tuesday what result I get fingers crossed for a bfp but then the real fun begins at epu with blood tests and earl scans 🙄.
They said I must call as soon as I get a positive.
I order my frer on Amazon I have 1 left from last month.
I use clear blue digital with the the weeks since conception indicator.
I use wodfo early detection IC
I think I will try with the IC first then the frer
Today I've had really bad cramps in my lower right abdomen (this is the side I ovulated from confirmed with scan) and back ache.
I'm really hot aswell .

Hey hun omg we’re basically the same person lol my AF is due on the 6th aug aparently and I also tested way too early last month. Although I did have my first proper clear positive pregnancy test in a loooong time unfortunately it wasn’t to be so im going to try and hold off this cycle until I’ve missed my period. I travelled down to London to visit my sister and her kids for a week so hopefully this will keep me distracted 🙃

I do feel like I am also super aware of my body so I’ve been feeling every twinge and ache you can imagine lol. So far I’ve only had mild cramping and sore boobs ( sorry) .. wbu have you noticed anything different at all?

Fingers crossed for you! I’ve found it good to keep myself busy/ distracted, otherwise I just find myself thinking about it!

keeping busy is good. I’m off work for the summer as I’m a teacher, so I’m finding it tricky to keep myself busy without work as a distraction.

😂 I have no clue if I have any symptoms or I’m just making things up. 😅 I have had mild cramping but I usually get that around the time after ovulation. I’m just trying to go with the flow this cycle and not obsessing over everything change or symptom (it’s easier to say than do tho).
