Pain on left side - 4w6d

Hi all, I am 4w6d, and the last three days have had a niggling almost constant pain on my left side. I guess where my left ovary is. I did have an Endometrioma removed 20th May, so wondering if it’s just nerve pain from this? I guess I’m petrified about ectopic - I have no bleeding, so not sure. Xx

Hello I’m 5 weeks today and also having all sorts of cramps. Been like it constantly for the last day or so. I’m hoping it’s just stretching etc as I had a CP last cycle 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Hope you’re okay

Is this your first pregnancy? Very normal to get cramps similar to period pain is just everything stretching and embedding but if painful or accompanied with bleeding speak to the epu.

Sorry to hear about your CP but huge congrats on your pregnancy! You’re a day ahead of me 😃 I think it’s because it’s in one spot on my left side - but I have always had pain there from my Endometrioma cyst, so hoping it’s that. 🤞🏼 lots of luck to you xx

Yes my first, was my first cycle after full endometriosis excision surgery after 6 years ttc. So I am hoping it’s just nerve pain etc, it’s in such specific spots like pinching. X

This can be the corpus Luteum pumping out hormones
It can be the side you ovulated from.

I had this feeling with my first, saw epu and had a scan. They saw it immediately where I had ovulated. It went away

Last 2ww when I got a BFP, I had cramps on my right ovary. I thought I had an ectopic but a CP instead. I got it checked last month and it turned out to be a paraovarian cyst close to my right ovary. It is not harmful. It is better to get it checked and it could be caused by your endometrioma cyst.

Butterfly8719 · 26/07/2024 16:55

@LucyCL sorry to hear about your CP. thank you, I had my Endometrioma excised and confirm low return rate, so I am hoping is it just nerves. I have 2-3 weeks on CB and all other symptoms, and spoke to clinic who said not to worry if no bleeding etc so going to see how I go. Thank you xx

It’s been less frequent today - only had a couple of occasion where it’s been a little painful. Pregnancy symptoms deffo kicking in too!! And wondfo getting darker, feeling confident it’s not ectopic. You? X

Morning! I’m still getting cramping but more on and off! Everything seems to be aching. But I’m still getting dye stealers and I got my 3+ this morning on CB so I’m praying all is okay 🤞🏻🤞🏻😅 x

I know a lot of my friends have spotted throughout the first trimester so hopefully absolutely nothing to worry about, got everything crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’m still finding it all a whirlwind of anxiety after loss. Felt quite sick yesterday with sore boobs so felt positive about things.. today no sickness and boobs look/feel normal. It’s such a hard ride!

With my little boy I had sickness from 1dpo to week 20 so didn’t even have time to doubt anything. I never thought I’d say this but right now I’d take the awful sickness over mild symptoms any day!! Xx

Thank you, I had a scan at the EPU and they confirmed it was a corpus luteum. X

Thank you, I went for a scan and all seems ok 🤞🏼 my symptoms definitely come and go, particularly my sore boobs. Sickness is fairly consistent though and have it most days, headache is kicking in now and I hate headaches 😖

i can imagine you have so much more anxiety following your loss 😞 I feel the same following our ivf journey - it’s crap but our past doesn’t predict our future so we must keep positive 🫶🏻
